Property Information: Address, photographs, documents (ownership proof, NOC), and property specifications submitted during onboarding.

Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, device information, IP address, browser type, and referring URLs — collected automatically when you use our platform.

Communications: Records of messages sent via our platform, support tickets, and WhatsApp communications with your account manager.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your owner account and property listings
• Process monthly payouts and generate financial reports
• Match your property with guest bookings via OTA platforms
• Send operational updates, payout statements, and maintenance alerts
• Improve the HostsGenZ platform, detect fraud, and ensure security
• Comply with legal obligations under Indian law (GST, TDS, FEMA for NRIs)
• Send marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

OTA Platforms: Property details and availability are shared with Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip, and Goibibo to facilitate bookings.

Service Providers: Cleaning vendors, maintenance contractors, and photographers receive limited information (property address, contact) necessary to perform their services.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority under Indian jurisdiction.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest
• TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
• Role-based access controls for our team
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Secure, bcrypt-hashed password storage

Financial records (payout statements, GST invoices) are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.
